    GOODBYE, FRIES

    GOODBYE, FRIES!

Due to recent events, the IMS cafeteria will no longer be serving fries. The reason? A potato farmer strike. The company that disturbed some of Mercer Island’s food (we can’t name it for legal reasons), such as potatoes, has either temporarily shut down or maybe permanently. A recent interview with a potato farmer who was recently fired has uncovered some of the truth. “I was paid a dollar an hour,” he says. “When my car broke, I was fired, no insurance, no nothing”. When interviewing some of his colleagues, the journalists found out the same thing. Other companies on Mercer Island such as Haps, Roanoke Inn, etc will also have to either switch their food distributors, or live with no fries. But, in the meanwhile, the cafeteria will be serving kale-based fries. Free samples at the cafeteria 8:25 AM, April 1st. 1 SERVING PER PERSON!!!
